  • Prior to provision of the service, the pharmacy contractor must be satisfactorily complying with their obligations under Schedule 4 of the Pharmaceutical Services Regulations (terms of service of NHS pharmacists) in respect of the provision of essential services and an acceptable system of clinical governance.

  • The pharmacy providing the service must: Comply with the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2012 Number 1909 for the delivery of Essential Services.

  • Pharmacy premises must fulfil the requirements specified in (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013 paragraph 26, Schedule 1.

  • The service provider will have an NHS dispensing contract with NHS England Greater Manchester and must fully comply with its Terms of Service under The National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013, as amended, for delivery of Essential Services.

  • Pharmacists may also refuse to supply if ‘subjected to or threatened with violence’ or if the service user or ‘person accompanying that person, commits or threatens to commit a criminal offence’ in keeping with Paragraph 9 of the Terms of Service of Pharmacists contained in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the NHS Pharmaceutical Services Regulations 2005.

  • Provision of this service does not affect any other terms and conditions within the community pharmacy services contract – The National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2005 as amended.

  • In order to provide the services, the Provider must also provide all the essential services as stated in the NHS Pharmaceutical Services Regulations 2005 (as amended).

  • Under the Pharmaceutical Services Regulations 2013 pharmacies are not required to open on bank holidays including Christmas Day and Easter Sunday, therefore NHS England & NHS Improvement needs to commission pharmaceutical support services when required.

  • Pharmacists may also refuse to supply if “subjected to or threatened with violence” or if the service user or “person accompanying that person, commits or threatens to commit a criminal offence” in keeping with Paragraph 9 of the Terms of Service of Pharmacists contained in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the NHS Pharmaceutical Services Regulations 2005.

  • It is expected that this will be a consultation room of equivalent standard to that specified for Advanced Services in line with The National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2005.
