Phase I Initiation definition
Phase I Initiation means the date when a Licensed Product is first administered to human subjects for a Phase I Clinical Trial in the Territory.

If the Phase III Initiation Milestone (AD) is achieved prior to achievement (or deemed achievement) of either of the Phase II Initiation Milestone (AD) or Phase I Initiation Milestone (AD) then each such unachieved AD Development Milestone shall be deemed achieved.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Section 2.1(b), Disc shall be deemed to have Initiated a Phase I Clinical Trial for a Licensed Product in the First Indication in the Licensed Territory if Disc pays Mabwell the Phase I Initiation Payment.
