Phone and Pay definition
Phone and Pay means the system put in place by the Council in conjunction with a third party which enables a Driver to pay the required parking charge via the third parties payment system. Payment by this manner may incur an administrative fee to the Driver by the third party.
Phone and Pay means a system of payment whereby the parking charge, levied under Article 46 of this Order, (and any appropriate administration charge) is collected by a City Council appointed service provider in accordance with instructions indicated on signs located at on-street parking places where the system is operational, via an arranged account, with payment being made over a mobile telephone or by other electronic system (including via the internet) by credit or debit card or any other means of secure authorised payment, to facilitate a cashless and ticketless parking transaction.
Phone and Pay means a method of payment of the Parking charge operated and maintained by the Council’s appointed service provider to accept and record the payments (inclusive of any appropriate administrative charge), made by means of a credit or debit card or any other approved method of secure authorised payment and transmitted by a mobile telephone or any other electronic system (inclusive of internet apparatus) to obtain a period of parking in a parking place where the “pay by phone” system is operational and indicated by lawful signs;
