Examples of Physician Services Committee in a sentence

  • If they are unable to reach agreement following the use of a Trouble Shooter, either the Doctors of BC or the Government may refer the matter to the Physician Services Committee as a Local Interest Issue.

  • If the MSP denies a request for an advance, the requesting physician may refer the matter to the Physician Services Committee for a final decision on the matter.

  • In the event that notice of a withdrawal of services is given, the matter will be referred by the Physician Services Committee to the Trouble Shooter.

  • The Physician Services Committee will report the results of these meetings to the Minister, the MSC and the Board of Directors of the Doctors of BC on a timely basis.

  • If they are unable to reach an agreement following the use of a Trouble Shooter, either the Doctors of BC or the Government may refer the matter to the Physician Services Committee as a Local Interest Issue.

  • Failing such a recommendation of the Physician Services Committee, there are no further steps under this Agreement to address the Local Quality of Care Issue.

  • If the Specialist Services Committee cannot reach a consensus decision with respect to any matter that is referred to it under section 5.6(d) and that requires a determination, the Physician Services Committee will determine a process for resolving the dispute, which may include referral to the Adjudicator or the Adjudication Committee or to the MSC.

  • Human service zone means a county or consolidated group of counties administering human services within a designated area in accordance with an agreement or plan approved by the department.

  • Medically Necessary Services means those covered services that are, under the terms and conditions of the contract, determined through contractor utilization management to be:

  • Mental health professional means a psychiatrist,

  • Health and Human Services or “HHS” includes HHSC and DSHS.

  • Medical Board means the board of physicians as provided by this chapter.

  • Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.

  • Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • Benefits Committee means the Employee Benefits Committee of Textron.

  • Professional Conduct Committee means the professional conduct committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(2)(b);

  • Allied Health Professional means a person registered as an allied health professional with the Health Professions Council;

  • Non-Administrator Coordinated Home Care Program means a Coordinated Home Care Program which does not have an agreement with the Claim Administrator or a Blue Cross Plan but has been certified as a home health agency in accordance with the guidelines established by Medicare.
