Planned Maintenance Outages definition

Planned Maintenance Outages means such time up to a total of 10 hours per month when, upon 3 business days’ notice, the Service may be temporarily interrupted or curtailed due to scheduled maintenance such as equipment modifications, upgrades, relocation, repairs and other similar activities necessary during the operation and upgrade of the Service, which action shall not constitute System Downtime. Provider shall provide Subscriber reasonable notice of any Planned Maintenance Outages that are scheduled to occur. Provider will use commercially reasonable efforts to perform scheduled interruptions on weekends and outside of the hours between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. eastern time.

Examples of Planned Maintenance Outages in a sentence

  • Such Planned Maintenance Outages include, but are not limited to, the RMR Unit manufacturer’s recommended and required maintenance and any preventive maintenance that maintains or improves the reliability of the RMR Unit.

  • Seller shall not be obligated to deliver Energy or Ancillary Services from an RMR Unit pursuant to this Agreement during Planned Maintenance Outages affecting such RMR Unit.

Related to Planned Maintenance Outages

  • Maintenance Outage means the temporary operational removal of the Facility from service to perform work on specific components of the Facility, at a time when the Facility must be removed from service before the next Scheduled Outage in the interest of safety or the prevention of injury or damage to or undue wear and tear on the Facility or any component thereof.

  • Planned Maintenance means any Maintenance BT has planned to do in advance.

  • Generator Maintenance Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the facility, if removal of the facility meets the guidelines specified in the PJM Manuals.

  • Scheduled Maintenance means any adjustment, repair, removal, disassembly, cleaning, or replacement of components or systems required by the manufacturer which is performed on a periodic basis to prevent part failure or equipment or engine malfunction, or anticipated as necessary to correct an overt indication of malfunction or failure for which periodic maintenance is not appropriate.

  • Maintenance area means any geographic region of the United States previously designated nonattainment pursuant to the CAA Amendments of 1990 and subsequently redesignated to attainment subject to the requirement to develop a maintenance plan under §175A of the CAA, as amended.
