Plant Seniority as used herein shall mean a period reflected by the Company’s employment records of an employee’s continuous service. Plant seniority shall accumulate for the purpose of determining rights of employees in connection with lay-offs and recalls.

If Craft Unit Seniority is equal, Departmental Seniority shall control; if Departmental Seniority is equal, Plant Seniority shall control.
Plant Seniority shall apply within the plant and Departmental Seniority shall apply within each department of the plant.

The probationary period may be extended by mutual consent of the union and the company on a case by case basis. Seniority List The Seniority lists will be revised every three months. They will be available for inspection by the employees at the Production Office, or some other suitable location. Effective July the Seniority list will show two dates:
