Plant Seniority definition

Plant Seniority as used herein means the length of service in the Company’s Ardmore Refinery.
Plant Seniority as used herein shall mean a period reflected by the Company’s employment records of an employee’s continuous service. Plant seniority shall accumulate for the purpose of determining rights of employees in connection with lay-offs and recalls.
Plant Seniority. Plant seniority is for plants that have more than eight (8) hours per day shift operations. This seniority shall be utilized when assigning shifts or work schedules for a plant.

Examples of Plant Seniority in a sentence

  • To be eligible, the person must have been actively employed by the Company for five years credited pension service and hold status on the Plant Seniority List.

  • Plant Seniority Employees shall be credited with plant seniority in the following manner: An employee hired at Puget Sound Refinery shall begin to be credited with plant seniority 120 consecutive calendar days after they are initially and actively employed (during which period they shall be considered a probationary employee for seniority purposes).

  • If Craft Unit Seniority is equal, Departmental Seniority shall control; if Departmental Seniority is equal, Plant Seniority shall control.

  • An employee whose job is terminated due to the aforementioned reasons may elect to remain on the Plant Seniority List for possible recall in accordance with the applicable recall provisions of the Collective Agreement.

  • To the extent they can be accommodated, they will be assigned according to Plant Seniority providing they are qualified to perform the work required.

Probationary Employees Employees shall be regarded on probation for the sixty working days of their employment. Upon completion of the probationary period, the employee’s seniority shall he retroactive to the beginning date of last period of continuous employment. There shall be no Company responsibility for or continued employment of probationary employees. Maintenance department employees shall be regarded as on probation for the one hundred and twenty days of their employment. The probationary period may be extended by mutual consent of the union and the company on a by case basis. Seniority List The Seniority lists will be revised months. They will be available for inspection by the employees concerned at the Production Office, or some other suitable location. Effective July the Seniority list will show two dates:
Plant Seniority means the amount of continuous service at International Extrusion Corporation/Texas.
Plant Seniority. An employees’ plant seniority shall date from their first day of work following their employment with the Company or their last re-employment if continuous service has been broken.
