Poimandres definition
Poimandres means in Egyptian “knowledge of Re,” the sun god. In this tractate, Poimandres, also described as the Mind of Sovereignty, teaches Hermes (and asks him to spread the message to others) that individuals can learn his “Word” and become “Sons of God.”
