point count definition

point count means a total value of cards in a hand as determined in accordance with rule 3.3;
point count means a single digit number from zero (0) to nine (9), inclusive, that is determined by totaling the face value of the cards in the hand. If the total face value of the cards in the hand is a two (2) digit number, the left digit of the number shall be deemed to have no value and the right digit shall constitute the point count of the hand.
