Points of Hire definition

Points of Hire and “Points of Hire communities” means the communities described in Subsection 7.6.1;
Points of Hire means the places in the Northwest Territories at which individuals become employees of BHP and includes the City of Yellowknife and such other communities as may be identified in the impact and benefit agreements and such other communities as may be mutually agreed upon by the Parties.

Examples of Points of Hire in a sentence

  • The Company will use its best efforts to establish offices in Points of Hire communities referred to in Section 7.6 and provide Inuit with related employment opportunities.

  • Counsellors Program shall provide in-person counselling support for all individuals living in all Points of Hire communities.

  • The Company will sponsor competitions, prizes and achievement awards at various levels in the school system in Points of Hire communities each Year during the term of this Agreement.

  • Inuit students from the Baffin Region will be given preference but priority will be given to Inuit students residing in Points of Hire communities.

  • AEM will arrange and pay for transportation of the Inuit employees between their respective Points of Hire and the Meadowbank Mine.

  • AEM shall be entitled, in its sole discretion, to establish work and rotation schedules for Inuit employees at the Meadowbank Mine, and to do so with due regard for the need to ensure efficient and cost-effective arrangements for transporting Inuit employees to and from their respective Points of Hire.
