Pound Keeper definition

Pound Keeper means a person authorized by the local government to perform all or any of the functions conferred on a “pound keeper” under this local law;

Pound Keeper means a person, persons, association or society appointed by The Corporation of the City of Belleville to maintain and administer the pound.

Pound Keeper means a person, firm, corporation or association who has entered into a contract with the Corporation of the Township of Essa to maintain a dog pound and any servants or agents of such person;

• The owner of any dog who requests the assistance of a Canine Control Officer for the transportation of any dog to the Pound Keeper for disposal shall pay the applicable disposal fee in addition to the $80.00 pick up fee to the Township.

• A deputy Pound Keeper pursuant to Section 9 of the Impounding Act 1955.

• Pound fees shall be determined by the Pound Keeper and are subject to change.

• Whenever the 72 hours of impounding time expires on a weekend, the Pound Keeper shall hold such dog until the expiry of the first business day following the weekend to permit the owner to redeem the dog.
