Payroll Period definition

Payroll Period means "payroll period" as defined in Section 3401(b) of the Internal Revenue Code;
Payroll Period means a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly pay period or such other standard pay period of the Participating Company applicable to the class of Employees of which the Eligible Employee is a part.
Payroll Period shall be defined as monthly, beginning with the date agreed to by the District for certificated employee services to begin. Salary payments shall be made not later than the last business day of the month.

  • A Participant may change his or her current investment election or transfer assets deposited by the Plan into a QDIA fund any day of the Plan Year, to be effective for the next following Payroll Period, within the limitations otherwise provided in this Plan, by directing the Plan Administrator or its Designee to make such change which direction is Properly Received.

  • Such election shall be effective for successive Payroll Periods starting with the Payroll Period beginning as soon as administratively possible on or after the Eligible Employee files the election form with the Plan Administrator so long as the individual remains an Eligible Employee on the first day of such Payroll Period.

  • Each Employer who has Eligible Employees on whose behalf elections with respect to Salary Deferral Contributions shall be in effect for a Payroll Period shall withhold the designated Salary Deferral Contribution from each such Eligible Employee’s Basic Compensation in accordance with the respective such election.
