Service Manager has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.01(c).
Service Management System (SMS) means an off-line system used to access, create, modify, or update information in a Database.
Best management practice (BMP) means a structural device or nonstructural practice designed to temporarily store or treat stormwater runoff in order to mitigate flooding, reduce pollution, and provide other amenities.
Drug therapy management means the review of a drug therapy regimen of a patient by one or more pharmacists for the purpose of evaluating and rendering advice to one or more practitioners regarding adjustment of the regimen.

Hospital practice protocol means a written plan, policy, procedure, or agreement that authorizes drug therapy management between hospital pharmacists and physicians within a hospital and the hospital’s clinics as developed and determined by the hospital’s P&T committee. Such a protocol may apply to all pharmacists and physicians at a hospital or the hospital’s clinics or only to those pharmacists and physicians who are specifically recognized. A hospital practice protocol shall comply with the requirements of subrule 8.34(3).
Executive Management means the CEO and the CFO for purposes of administering this Plan.
Practice of architecture means professional services, such as consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, design, or review of material and completed phases of work in construction, alteration, or repair in connection with a public or private structure, building, equipment, works, or project if the professional service requires the application of a principle of architecture or architectural design.
Practice of pharmacy means providing pharmacist care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, chemical, behavioral, social, pharmaceutical, and clinical sciences. As used in this division, "pharmacist care" includes the following:

Emergency management means lessening the effects of, preparations for, operations during, and recovery from natural, technological or human-caused disasters. These actions are broad in scope and include, but are not limited to: disaster plans, mitigation, preparedness, response, warning, emergency operations, training, exercising, research, rehabilitation, and recovery activities.
Community practice protocol means a written, executed agreement entered into voluntarily between an authorized pharmacist and a physician establishing drug therapy management for one or more of the pharmacist’s and physician’s patients residing in a community setting. A community practice protocol shall comply with the requirements of subrule 8.34(2).
Operations Manager is defined in Section 4.8(a).
Medical management technique means a practice which is used to control the cost or utilization of health care services or prescription drug use. The term includes, without limitation, the use of step therapy, prior authorization or categorizing drugs and devices based on cost, type or method of administration.

Advanced practice nurse means a person who holds current certification as nurse practitioner/clinical nurse specialist from the State Board of Nursing.
Virginia Stormwater Management Program or “VSMP” means a program approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, that has been established by a locality to manage the quality and quantity of runoff resulting from land-disturbing activities and shall include such items as local ordinances, rules, permit requirements, annual standards and specifications, policies and guidelines, technical materials, and requirements for plan review, inspection, enforcement, where authorized in this article, and evaluation consistent with the requirements of this article and associated regulations.
Change Management means the add-on module to the Programs that enables engineers to define network changes through one or more configuration templates. Those network changes can be applied to multiple devices and executed/rolled back automatically. The Change Management module enables engineers to verify the impact of the changes across the network to help ensure a safer change process.
Case management means a care management plan developed for a Member whose diagnosis requires timely coordination. All benefits, including travel and lodging, are limited to Covered Services that are Medically Necessary and set forth in the EOC. KFHPWA may review a Member's medical records for the purpose of verifying delivery and coverage of services and items. Based on a prospective, concurrent or retrospective review, KFHPWA may deny coverage if, in its determination, such services are not Medically Necessary. Such determination shall be based on established clinical criteria and may require Preauthorization.
