Pre-retirement Leave definition

Pre-retirement Leave means the period of time between when a member leaves the service (last day actually attending at work) and prior to the official retirement date.

Examples of Pre-retirement Leave in a sentence

  • Employees on Pre-retirement Leave will be given the option of contributing to the Pension Plan.

  • Each Pre-retirement Leave shall be for a period of six continuous months.

  • A Technician on Pre-retirement Leave may, upon proper notice, continue to be covered by the following Company benefits at his own expense: LTD and Life Insurance.

  • Employees hired July 1, 1993, or later will be eligible for retirement benefits after at least ten years of paid service in a bargaining unit position with the District immediately preceding STRS retirement or Pre-retirement Leave as provided in the SRVEA Agreement.

  • A Pre-retirement Leave may be requested for any appropriate reason by any qualified Technician provided the reason for the leave is not in conflict with Company policy.

  • Faculty Member makes an irrevocable election, with the consent of the College and the Department of , to enter into this "Pre-retirement Leave of Absence Program Agreement" as described in the College's published policy which is attached and incorporated by reference.
