Predecessor Notes definition

Predecessor Notes of any particular Note means every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 306 in lieu of a mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Note.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 2.09 of the Indenture in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Note.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 2.05 of the Indenture in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Note (or a mutilated Note surrendered to the Trustee) shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Note (or a mutilated Note surrendered to the Trustee).

Examples of Predecessor Notes in a sentence

• Any such consent or waiver by the Holder of this Note (or any one of more Predecessor Notes) shall be conclusive and binding upon such Holder and upon all future Holders of this Note and of any Note issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof whether or not notation of such consent or waiver is made upon this Note.

• Notice of the proposed payment of such Defaulted Amounts and the special record date therefor having been so delivered, such Defaulted Amounts shall be paid to the Persons in whose names the Notes (or their respective Predecessor Notes) are registered at the close of business on such special record date and shall no longer be payable pursuant to the following clause (ii) of this Section 2.03(c).

• Any reduction in the principal amount of this Note (or any one or more Predecessor Notes) affected by any payments made on any Distribution Date shall be binding upon all future Holders of this Note and of any Note issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof, whether or not noted hereon.

• Any reduction in the principal amount of this Note (or any one or more Predecessor Notes) affected by any payments made on any Distribution Date or Redemption Date shall be binding upon all future Holders of this Note and of any Note issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof, whether or not noted hereon.

• Any such consent or waiver by the Holder of this Note (or any one of more Predecessor Notes) shall be conclusive and binding upon such Holders and upon all future Holders of this Note and of any Note issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof whether or not notation of such consent or waiver is made upon this Note.

More Definitions of Predecessor Notes

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Two-Year Note, every previous Two-Year Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Two-Year Note; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Two-Year Notes authenticated and delivered under Section 2.08 hereof in exchange for mutilated Notes or in lieu of lost, destroyed or stolen Two-Year Notes, shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Two-Year Notes.

Predecessor Notes of any particular Senior Note means every previous Senior Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Senior Note; and, for purposes of this definition, any Senior Note authenticated and delivered under Section 2.06 in exchange for or in lieu of a mutilated, destroyed, lost, or stolen Senior Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, destroyed, lost, or stolen Senior Note.

Predecessor Notes. With respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 17 or the terms of a Note in lieu of or in exchange for a mutilated, lost, destroyed, or stolen Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Note, and any Note issued upon registration of transfer of or in exchange for any other Note shall be deemed to evidence all or a portion of the same debt evidenced by such other Note.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Security, every previous Security evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Security; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Securities authenticated and delivered under Section 2.04 hereof in exchange for mutilated Notes or in lieu of lost, destroyed or stolen Securities, shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Securities.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Seven-Year Note, every previous Seven-Year Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Seven-Year Note; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Seven-Year Notes authenticated and delivered under Section 2.08 hereof in exchange for mutilated Notes or in lieu of lost, destroyed or stolen Seven-Year Notes, shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Seven-Year Notes.
