Preferred Source definition

Preferred Source means providers selected in accordance with State Finance Law
Preferred Source shall refer to National Industries for the Blind. (NIB) and/or New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID), and Correctional Industries (Corcraft). NIB and NYSID are both facilitating agencies under the Preferred Source Program.
Preferred Source means the status afforded to certain contractors or vendors for purposes of Procurement under § 162 of the State Finance Law.

More Definitions of Preferred Source

Preferred Source means and refer to a designation by OMES-IS that the Cooperative Contract pool shall be utilized for applicable procurements by executive state agencies in precedence behind state-wide mandatory contracts. The precedence shall be recommended to governmental affiliates as well. Both parties acknowledge that OMES-IS does not have the authority to require governmental affiliates to adhere to the precedence set forth by OMES-IS for executive state agencies. The State of Oklahoma shall bear no liability for the acts or omissions of a procuring entity that is not a state agency and privity of contract with respect to purchases and performance by such procuring entity shall exist solely between the respective vendor and such procuring entity.
Preferred Source shall refer to the New York State Preferred Source Program for New Yorkers who are Blind (NYSPSP) formerly known as National Industries for the Blind. (NIB) and/or New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID), and Correctional Industries Program of the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (Corcraft).
