Preliminary Round means any round of matches in a Competition before Finals.

Preliminary Round means the qualification matches to the FINALS of the EVENT. Examples of Preliminary Round in a sentence

  • For the Preliminary Round, all qualifying teams will be drawn by pairs into two groups, either A or B.

  • The first four (4) teams ranked in the Preliminary Round will advance to compete in the Semifinal Round.

  • In case of equality in the number of matches won and lost, among two or more teams of the same group, the final ranking of the teams will be determined by the number of points gained among teams of the same group during the Preliminary Round.
