Primary Care Paramedic definition

Primary Care Paramedic means a paramedic who holds the qualifications set out in subsection 8 (1);
Primary Care Paramedic means a person who is qualified in accordance with the Ambulance Act and Regulations.
Primary Care Paramedic. (PCP) means a registered member who is registered in the Emergency Medical Technician - Ambulance area of practice, pursuant to Health Professions Act and the Regulations.

  • An Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) who voluntarily wishes to return to Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) status, in co-operation with the Base Hospital, will not be unreasonably denied such opportunity so long as a position is vacant and available.

  • When the District arranges training or courses for Primary Care Paramedic IV and requires an employee to attend when not at work, the District will pay the course costs and the employee will be compensated with time for time, for time spent at the training or course.

More Definitions of Primary Care Paramedic

Primary Care Paramedic is one who has successfully completed a course of studies in a recognized training institute and who is temporarily or permanently registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics as Health Professions Act, as applicable, as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP).
