Principal duty definition

Principal duty means any duty which is expected to account for twenty percent or more of a person's time in fulfilling the terms of his engagement or any duty which is expected to account for twenty percent or more of a person's time in any given year in performing the responsibilities of his employment.
Principal duty means a water undertaker’s general duty to develop and maintain an efficient and economical water supply system; and a sewerage undertaker’s general duty to provide a system of public sewers (see sections 37 and 94 of the WIA91). With regard to retailers and infrastructure providers, ‘principal duty’ means any condition of its licence or any statutory requirement imposed on it by its licence (see section 24 (7) of the WIA91).

  • Serviced Duty means all duties and obligations of the Sellers in a Corporate Trust Capacity under the Serviced Corporate Trust Contract related to each Serviced Appointment, in each case, other than any Retained Duty.
