Prohibited Vehicle definition

Prohibited Vehicle means any vehicle which is inoperable, unregistered, commercial, swamp buggy, stock car, or any other vehicle not normally used for highway travel, vehicles with body parts such as the hood, door, quarter panel, or bumper removed, unless the manufacturer’s specifications allow such use. As used herein the term “commercial” means trucks and other vehicles which are used for business purposes including but not limited to, any vehicle which displays a company name or logo on its exterior, is adorned with signs, flags, advertisements or any type of lettering or graphic of a commercial nature or any vehicle with racks, ladders, staging, or other equipment or attachments of a commercial nature, including supplies used for commercial purposes, on or visible in the vehicle. Additionally, and notwithstanding the foregoing, any vehicle, by whatever name designated, which is used for transporting goods, equipment or paying customers shall be considered a commercial vehicle regardless of any definition found elsewhere to the contrary.

Prohibited Vehicle means any vehicle with gross vehicle mass of 3 500 kg or more; any trailer; boat, whether on a trailer or not; any container of any description, whether on a trailer or not, and includes any caravan, implement or animal-drawn wagon or cart:

Prohibited Vehicle means any motor home; trailer; camper, whether mounted or not; boat, whether on a trailer or not; and truck with a load capacity of one ton or more.

Examples of Prohibited Vehicle in a sentence

• If a vehicle qualifies as both an Authorized Vehicle and a Prohibited Vehicle, as defined in Section 7.14 of the CC&Rs, then the vehicle is presumed to be a Prohibited Vehicle, unless the vehicle is expressly classified as an Authorized Vehicle, in writing, by the Board.

Prohibited Vehicle means and refer to any commercial vehicle or commercial type vehicle (as further defined within these rules); any recreational vehicle (including, but not limited to, any camper unit, house/car, or motor home); any unlicensed motorized vehicle (including, but not limited to, motorized scooter, miniature electric or gas powered vehicles); any van or bus designed to accommodate more than ten (10) people, regardless of the vehicles intended,designated, or assumed use or purpose; any trailer, trailer coach, boat, aircraft, or motor home; any inoperable or unregistered vehicle or any other similar vehicle; and/or any vehicle or vehicular equipment, mobile or otherwise, constituting a nuisance. Prohibited Vehicles shall not be allowed in any portion of the common area including, but not limited to private streets, within the project, except for (i) emergency vehicle repairs (which must be completed expeditiously), (ii) commercial deliveries, and (iii) temporary construction shelters or facilities maintained during, and used exclusively in connection with, the construction of any work or improvement approved by the Board. [Note: Emergency repairs does not include ordinary maintenance, such as changing the oil for the vehicle.]

Prohibited Vehicle means any vehicle prohibited by Article XII, Section 6 of the Declaration, which is summarized in Section 5 below.

Prohibited Vehicle means any bus, camper coach, trailer coach, motor home, self-propelled motor home, recreational equipment, or recreational vehicle.
