Prohibited Wastes definition

Prohibited Wastes means those items described in Appendix 01 or as designated by the Director of Public Works and Engineering Services;
Prohibited Wastes means those items described in Appendix 04, or designated by the Director of Public Works and Engineering Services;
Prohibited Wastes means wastes that are prohibited from disposal at the Landfill by All Applicable Laws. Such wastes shall include, without limitation, hazardous wastes regulated under X.X. x. 21C, radioactive wastes, liquid wastes, pathological and biological wastes, infectious wastes, explosives, asbestos in quantities prohibited from solid waste landfills, wastes restricted from landfilling pursuant to 310 CMR 19.017, wastes containing regulated quantities of polychlorinated biphenyls, oil based paints, petroleum wastes (except for soils containing quantities of petroleum that are authorized by All Applicable Laws for solid waste landfill disposal), gasoline, kerosene, turpentine, and other similar hydrocarbon based substances.

Examples of Prohibited Wastes in a sentence

  • For any vehicle found to be disposing of Prohibited Wastes (as described above) the applicable surcharge will be applied for the entire load.

  • The appropriate tipping fee will be charged for the entire load of solid waste disposed of at the CMCMUA Sanitary Landfill.All vehicles entering CMCMUA facilities are subject to inspection and may be periodically checked for evidence of both waste type and out-of-County waste violations.For any vehicle found to be disposing of Prohibited Wastes (as described above) the following provisions shall apply for the entire load.

More Definitions of Prohibited Wastes

Prohibited Wastes means any waste that is radioactive, hazardous, infectious or pathological.

Related to Prohibited Wastes

  • Prohibited Waste means prohibited waste as defined in Schedule “D” to this Bylaw.

As used in this Contract: “Release” means spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, discharging, injecting, escaping, leaching, dumping or disposing.

  • Natural radioactivity means radioactivity of naturally occurring nuclides.

  • Dangerous Substances means a substance or article described in regulation 3 of the Dangerous Substances Regulations;
