Prolonged Force Majeure definition

Prolonged Force Majeure means a condition in which a Force Majeure event has caused 50% or more of the Contracted Facility Capacity to be unavailable for dispatch for eighteen (18) consecutive months or more and is continuing.
Prolonged Force Majeure means an Event of Force Majeure which (i) lasts more than one hundred and twenty (120) successive days from the data when it took place; or (ii) in relation to what is clear, from the date of the occurrence, that it will last more than one hundred and twenty (120) successive days.

More Definitions of Prolonged Force Majeure

Prolonged Force Majeure means if one or more Force Majeure Events continues for a period of more than one hundred and eighty (180) continuous days or three hundred and sixty-five (365) days in aggregate in any period of five hundred (500) days.

  • Force Majeure means an event beyond the control of the supplier and not involving the supplier’s fault or negligence and not foreseeable. Such events may include, but is not restricted to, acts of the purchaser in its sovereign capacity, wars or revolutions, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions and freight embargoes.

Contractor shall use reasonable good faith efforts to notify Owner not later than five (5) days after Construction Manager knows of the occurrence of an Unavoidable Delay. An extension of time for an Unavoidable Delay shall only be for the period of the Unavoidable Delay, which period shall commence to run from the time of the commencement of the cause of the Unavoidable Delay.

  • Catastrophic Damage as used hereunder is major change or damage to In- cluded Timber on Sale Area, to Sale Area, to access to Sale Area, or a combination thereof:

  • Act of God means a cataclysmic phenomenon of nature, including earthquake, flood or cyclone. Rain, snow, wind, high water or any other natural phenomenon, which might reasonably have been anticipated from historical records of the general locality of the City, shall be deemed not to be acts of God;
