Prosthetic devices means and includes the provision of initial and subsequent prosthetic devices ordered by the Insured’s Physician.

Prosthetic devices means prosthetic external devices that replace a limb or all or part of a missing body part due to a Medical Condition for resuming its initial functioning (including but not limited to artificial arms, legs, feet, hands, but excluding replacement for cosmetic purpose or device being lost or stolen, or not for rehabilitative reason), and which must be ordered under the direction of a Physician during a Confinement or surgical procedure.
