Provider Manuals definition

Provider Manuals means policy and procedure documents outlining the policies and practices for medical providers enrolled with Vermont Medicaid. Manuals are made publicly available for medical coverage and medical programs administered by the Agency.

Examples of Provider Manuals in a sentence

  • The HMO must prepare and issue a Provider Manual(s), including any necessary specialty manuals (e.g., behavioral health) to all existing Network Providers.

  • For newly contracted Providers, the HMO must issue copies of the Provider Manual(s) within five (5) working days from inclusion of the Provider into the Network.

  • Medicaid Program Provider Manuals – service-specific documents created by the Bureau for Medical Services to describe policies and procedures applicable to the program generally and that service specifically.

  • Records shall be complete and accurate for each Consumer receiving Services under this Contract as required by HIPAA regulations, federal and State law, regulations, and/or the prevailing standards of medical care including the applicable Medicaid and Medicare Provider Manuals.

  • INSURER must prepare and issue a Provider Manual(s), including any necessary specialty manuals to the providers in the INSURER network and to newly contracted providers in the INSURER network within five (5) working days from inclusion of the provider into the network.
