Provincial Health Insurer Rights of Recovery definition

Provincial Health Insurer Rights of Recovery means all statutory authority for the recovery of costs of insured health or medical services from third parties, as defined in the empowering legislation of each jurisdiction and listed on Schedule “A” hereto;
Provincial Health Insurer Rights of Recovery or “Rights of Recovery” shall mean the statutory authority for the recovery of costs of insured health or medical services, as defined in the empowering legislation of each jurisdiction, as set out in the attached Exhibit “G”.

  • Health insurance means protection which provides payment of benefits for covered sickness or injury.

  • Medicare Provider Agreement means an agreement entered into between CMS or other such entity administering the Medicare program on behalf of CMS, and a health care provider or supplier under which the health care provider or supplier agrees to provide services for Medicare patients in accordance with the terms of the agreement and Medicare Regulations.
