Provincial Road definition

Provincial Road means any road, street, lane, alley, trail or path, other than a divided or paved Provincial Highway, the title to which is vested in Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Saskatchewan or set aside for such purposes under The North-West Territories Act, R.S.C. 1886, c.50, or any statute of the Province of Saskatchewan and includes a bridge, culvert, drain or public improvement erected upon or in connection with the same and which is intended for or used by the general public for the passage of vehicles;
Provincial Road means a road that is under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Roads Authority;
Provincial Road means a road under the administration and control of British Columbia;

  • The Band agrees that the area of any Undeveloped Road Allowance or Provincial Road which has been transferred to Canada under this Article shall not be used in determining whether the Band has attained its Shortfall Acres, or Equity Quantum for the purposes of this Agreement.

  • The parties agree that the transfer of administration and control of Provincial Roads from Saskatchewan to Canada to be set apart as an Entitlement Reserve shall in all cases be the subject of a separate agreement among the Band, Saskatchewan, Canada and the Rural Municipality, Urban Municipality or Northern Municipality within which the Provincial Road is located.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Article, but subject to applicable law, Saskatchewan, the Band, Canada and the Rural Municipality, Urban Municipality or Northern Municipality in which a Provincial Road or Undeveloped Road Allowance is located may enter into any agreement concerning any particular Provincial Road or Undeveloped Road Allowance which meets the needs and objectives of all parties.


More Definitions of Provincial Road

Provincial Road means the full road reserve of any road proclaimed or designated as such for the use of the general public under this Act or under a law repealed by this Act in terms of section 60, and includes a temporary deviation thereof, but excludes—
Provincial Road. ’ means a trunk road, main road, district road, minor road, public path or public transport road for which the Minister is the road authority; 10
Provincial Road means a road contemplated in section 5(1)(a);
Provincial Road means a road under the administration and control of British Columbia.
Provincial Road means a road existing on the Effective Date located on a Crown Corridor under the administration and control of British Columbia as identified in Appendix E.
Provincial Road means “provincial road” as defined in The Highways and Transportation Department Act;
Provincial Road means a highway declared to be a provincial road under The Highways and Transportation Act.
