Department Act definition

Department Act means ABX1 1 (Chapter 4 of the Statutes of 2001, First Extraordinary Session), as amended by ABX1 31 (Chapter 9 of the Statutes of 2001, First Extraordinary Session) codified as Section 80000 et seq. of the Water Code.

  • The hours of duty shall be an average of forty-two (42) hours per week in accordance with the provisions of the Fire Department Act.

  • Diversus will continue to maintain systems, programs or other infrastructure notwithstanding a seizure by the Commissioner under The Insurance Department Act of 1921 and shall make them available to the receiver for as long as Diversus continues to receive timely payment for Services rendered.

  • All teachers on staff, holding a teaching certificate, currently recognized by Manitoba Education and Training, or a limited teaching permit issued under the Education Department Act (and teachers employed under Article 6), shall come within the scope of this Agreement.

  • The underwriters in connection with such public offering are intended third party beneficiaries of this Article 11 and shall have the right, power and authority to enforce the provisions hereof as though they were a party hereto.

  • The scheduling of duty hours for employees, other than those in the Fire Prevention Branch, Training Branch and Mechanical Branch, shall be in accordance with the two platoon system being consistent with the Fire Department Act, System No. 2 set out in Schedule "B" attached hereto, and forming part of this Agreement.

  • ARTICLE OVERTIME All employees of the Fire Department called back under Section Subsection of the Fire Department Act be paid one and one-half 1/21 times the employee's hourly rate, but in any case for not than four hours.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);

  • Health Department means the department of environmental quality, a city health department, a county health department, or a district health department, whichever has jurisdiction.
