Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card definition

Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card or "MMRIC" means a document issued by the Department that identifies a person as one of the following:

  • Possession of a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card does not authorize a resident to possess, use or distribute marijuana in the residence halls, or in any public area of the University.

  • This prohibition applies even if the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has issued a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card to a resident, permitting that resident to possess a limited amount of marijuana for medicinal purposes.

  • This prohibition applies regardless of whether the Student complies with state recreational use laws and even if the Student has obtained a Colorado Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card.

  • Residents who receive a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card prior to or during residency in the residence halls may submit a request to Occupancy Management to be released from any Housing & Dining Contract executed by the resident.

  • This prohibition applies regardless of whether the Student complies with state recreational use laws and even if the Student has obtained a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card.

  • Residents who receive a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card prior to or during residency in the residence halls may submit a request to the Executive Director of Housing & Dining Services or designee to be released from any Housing & Dining Services Contract executed by the resident.

  • This prohibition applies regardless of whether the Intern complies with state recreational use laws and even if the Intern has obtained a Colorado Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card.

  • Possession of a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card does not authorize a student to possess, use or distribute marijuana in Bear Creek, or in any public area of the University.

  • Residents who receive a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card prior to or during residency in the residence halls may submit a request to the executive director of Housing & Dining Services or designee to be released from any Housing & Dining Services Contract executed by the resident.

  • Students who receive a Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Card prior to or during residency in Bear Creek may submit a request to Bear Creek to be released from any Housing & Dining Contract executed by the student.
