Public Park Site Fire definition

Public Park Site Fire means a fire on land owned or leased by the Municipality or its agents for recreational purposes and is confined to a non-combustible container supplied by the Municipality, as approved by a Fire Member, or a portable appliance, which is set for the purpose of cooking food, obtaining warmth or viewing for pleasure. Such fire may only be fueled with seasoned wood, charcoal, coal, natural gas or propane.
Public Park Site Fire means a fire set for the purpose of a recreational fire on land owned or leased by the City or under the City’s direction, control and management for recreational purposes, that is confined to a non-combustible container supplied by the City as approved by the Fire Chief, or a portable appliance, which is fueled only by burnable debris;
Public Park Site Fire means a fire on land owned or leased by the municipality for recreational purpose (ie. Campgrounds) that is confined to a non-combustible container if supplied by the municipality, or an approved fire pit by the Director of Protective Services/Fire Chief, or a Portable Appliance, which is set for the purpose of cooking food. Such fire may only be fueled with seasoned wood, charcoal, natural gas, or propane.

  • Open Fire means any fire which is not in an Incinerator and not a Public Park Site Fire, and includes grass fires, forest fires, brush fires, running fires, house and building and structure fires, wood scrap fires, ground thawing fires, and chattel fires.Owner, when used with reference to real property, has the same meaning as under theCommunity Charter.
