Qualified Canadians definition
Qualified Canadians has the same meaning as given to the term “Canadian” in the Investment Canada Act;
Qualified Canadians means “Canadians” as such term is defined in the Canada Transportation Act;
Qualified Canadians shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in the seventh paragraph of this Agreement;
Examples of Qualified Canadians in a sentence
Holders of Securities who fail to provide a duly completed Residency Declaration and who are not otherwise determined to be Qualified Canadians by the Trustee will be deemed not to be Qualified Canadians and will receive Variable Voting Shares.
If the affected employee does not advise the department head of his or her choice within the time period herein indicated, he or she will be deemed to have agreed to work the new schedule on the work days indicated therein.
Subject to the conversion procedures set forth in Section 4.2, upon conversion of the Securities, Holders who are Qualified Canadians will receive Voting Shares and Holders who are not Qualified Canadians will receive Variable Voting Shares.
