Qualified elector means an individual at least 18 years of age who is a citizen of the United States, a permanent resident of this state, and a resident of the district who registers with the supervisor of elections of a county within which the district lands are located when the registration books are open.
Qualified Election means a Participant's waiver of a Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity or a Qualified Pre-Retirement Survivor Annuity. Any such waiver must be consented to in writing by the Participant's Spouse. The Spouse's consent must: designate a specific Beneficiary (including any class of Beneficiaries or any contingent Beneficiaries, which may not be changed without spousal consent) or expressly permits designations by the Participant without any further spousal consent; acknowledge the effect of the election; and be witnessed by a member of the Committee or a Notary Public. Additionally, a Participant's waiver of the Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity shall not be effective unless the election designates a form of benefit payment which may not be changed without spousal consent (or the Spouse expressly permits designations by the Participant without any further spousal consent). Notwithstanding this consent requirement, if the Participant establishes to the satisfaction of a member of the Committee that there is no Spouse or the Spouse cannot be located, a waiver will be deemed a Qualified Election. Any spousal consent (or deemed spousal consent) obtained under this provision will be valid only with respect to such Spouse. A consent that permits designations by the Participant without further consent by such Spouse must acknowledge that the Spouse has the right to limit consent to a specific Beneficiary and, where applicable, a specific form of benefit, and that the Spouse voluntarily elects to relinquish either or both of such rights. A revocation of a prior waiver may be made by a Participant without the consent of the Spouse at any time before the commencement of benefits. The number of revocations shall not be limited. No consent obtained under this provision shall be valid unless the Participant has received notice as provided in paragraph (b) below.
Qualified Election Period means the six Plan Year period beginning with the Plan Year in which the Participant first becomes a Qualified Participant.
Qualified Nurse means a person who holds a valid registration from the Nursing Council of India or the Nursing Council of any state in India.
Qualified veteran means a person who meets the following requirements:
Qualified employer means the federal government.
Qualified Non-Elective Contribution means any Employer contributions made pursuant to Section 4.1(c) and Section 4.6(b) and Section 4.8(f). Such contributions shall be considered an Elective Contribution for the purposes of the Plan and may be used to satisfy the "Actual Deferral Percentage" tests or the "Actual Contribution Percentage" tests.
Qualified employee means an individual who:
Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in chapter 43 of title 38, United States Code) by any individual if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service.
Qualified physician means any physician who has not been excluded under the provisions of subpart I of this part. Except as otherwise provided by regulation, a qualified physician shall be deemed to be designated or ap- proved by OWCP.
Qualified long-term care services means services that meet the requirements of Section 7702(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, as follows: necessary diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, curative, treatment, mitigation and rehabilitative services, and maintenance or personal care services which are required by a chronically ill individual, and are provided pursuant to a plan of care prescribed by a licensed health care practitioner.
Municipal primary election means an election held to nominate candidates for
Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity means an immediate annuity for the life of the Participant with a survivor annuity for the life of the Spouse which is fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the annuity which is payable during the joint lives of the Participant and the Spouse and which is the amount of benefit which can be purchased with the Participant's Vested Account Balance.
Qualified Nonelective Contribution (QNEC) means the Employer's contributions to the Plan that are made pursuant to Sections 12.1(a)(4), 12.5 and 12.7 or pursuant to any other Plan provision which provides for such contributions.
Mixed Election has the meaning set forth in Section 3.01(b)(iii).
Legally Qualified Physician means a physician or a Christian Science Practitioner (a) other than an Insured, a Traveling Companion or a Family Member: (b) practicing within the scope of his or her license: and (c) recognized as a physician in the place where the services are rendered.
Qualified disabled veteran means a business entity that is 51% or more owned by one or more veterans with a service- connected disability.

Qualifying exigency means a situation where the eligible employee seeks leave for one or more of the following reasons:
Qualified wages means wages you paid during the one-year period beginning with the date an ex-offender begins working for you. Only wages that are subject to unemployment tax under IRC Section 3306 qualify. This includes amounts in excess of the maximum taxable wage. Wages paid during any period for which you received federally funded payments for on-the-job training for the ex-offender do not qualify.
Qualified Nonelective Contributions means contributions of the Plan Sponsor or an Affiliate, other than Matching Contributions or Elective Deferrals, which are nonforfeitable when made, and which would be nonforfeitable regardless of the age or service of the Employee or whether the Employee is employed on a certain date, and which may not be distributed, except upon one of the events described under Code Section 401(k)(2)(B) and the regulations thereunder.
Non-Participating Certified Nurse Practitioner means a Certified Nurse Practitioner who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
Qualified Preretirement Survivor Annuity means an annuity which is payable for the life of the Participant's surviving spouse.
Qualified Termination means the Executive’s employment by the Company is terminated, (i) by the Executive for Good Reason or (ii) by the Company for any reason other than for Cause, death, Disability, or retirement at or after age 65.
Voice Initiated Election means any election concerning dividend options available to Investment Company shareholders or subscribers which is requested by voice over the telephone.
Qualified User means a person (e.g., employee, consultant, contingent staff) who: (1) is a user of a Qualified Device, or (2) accesses any server software requiring an Enterprise Product Client Access License or any Enterprise Online Service. It does not include a person who accesses server software or an Online Service solely under a License identified in the Qualified User exemptions in the Product Terms.
