Qualified Workforce Program definition

Qualified Workforce Program has the meaning specified in Section 8.24(b). Real Estate Taxes shall mean real property taxes levied by the City on real property within the City. Recapture Amount shall have the meaning specified in Section 5.4(a). Recapture Event shall mean any one of the following events:
Qualified Workforce Program means a training or workforce development program that serves youth, disadvantaged populations or traditionally hard-to-employ populations and that has been determined to be a Qualified Workforce Program by the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development. Site Affiliates means, collectively, all Affiliates of Lessee that lease, occupy, operate or perform work at the Facility Realty and that have one or more direct Site Employees.
Qualified Workforce Program has the meaning specified in Section 8.24(b).

More Definitions of Qualified Workforce Program

Qualified Workforce Program means any training or workforce development program that serves youth, disadvantaged populations or traditionally hard-to-employ populations. The director of the mayor’s office of workforce development shall, in consultation with the commissioner of small business services, publish a list of such programs.
Qualified Workforce Program means a training or workforce development program that serves youth, disadvantaged populations or traditionally hard-to-employ populations and that has been determined to be a Qualified Workforce Program by the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development. Rental Payments shall mean, collectively, Base Rent and Additional Rent. Requested Document Deliverables shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.8(a)(iii). State shall mean the State of New York. Straight-Lease Transaction shall have the meaning assigned to that term in the Subordination Agreement shall mean each subordination agreement to be executed by and among a Mortgagee, the Agency, HYIC and Lessee, substantially in the form of Exhibit I-2 attached hereto. Subordination, Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreement shall mean each subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreement to be executed by and among a Mortgagee, the Agency and Lessee, substantially in the form of Exhibit I-1 attached hereto. Tenant shall mean any Person who shall lease, use or occupy any portion of the Facility Realty pursuant to a Tenant Lease. Tenant Lease shall mean any lease or sublease by the Lessee (or by any other Person whose leasehold estate in the Facility Realty or any portion thereof is derivative of the Lessee) of real property constituting all or any part of the Facility Realty, any tenancy with respect to the Facility Realty or any part thereof, whether or not in writing, any license or concession agreement and any other agreement, by whatever name called, involving a transfer or creation of possessory rights or similar rights of use or occupancy in the Facility Realty or any part thereof without transfer of title, and any and all guarantees of any of the foregoing, whether now existing or hereafter made.

Requested Document Deliverables shall have the meaning set forth in Sales Tax Exemption shall mean an exemption from Sales and Use Taxes resulting from the Agency’s participation in the Project. Sales Tax Registry shall mean the Sales Tax Registry in the form set forth in Sales Tax Savings shall mean all Sales Tax Exemption savings realized by or for the benefit of the Lessee, including any savings realized by any Agent, pursuant to this Agreement and each Sales Tax Agent Authorization Letter issued in connection with the Project. Sales and Use Taxes shall mean City and State sales and compensating use taxes and fees imposed pursuant to Article 28 or 28-A of the New York State Tax Law, as the same may be amended from time to time. Sign shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.5.

Related to Qualified Workforce Program

  • Education program or activity means locations, events, or circumstances for which the school district exercises substantial control over both the respondent and the context in which the sexual harassment occurs and includes school district education programs or activities that occur on or off of school district property.

  • PACE Program means a program implemented by a municipality to stimulate energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in conformity with Act 270.

  • Basic health plan model plan means a health plan as required in RCW 70.47.060(2)(e).

  • contributory employment and support allowance means an allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007 as amended by the provisions of Schedule 3, and Part 1 of Schedule 14, to the Welfare Reform Act 2012 that remove references to an income-related allowance and a contributory allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007 as that Part has effect apart from those provisions;

  • Education program means any program that is principally engaged in the provision of education, including, but not limited to, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, postsecondary education, special education, job training, career and technical education, and adult education, and any program that is administered by an educational agency or institution.

  • Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Sec. 129 or other sections of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Educator preparation program means a planned sequence of academic courses and experiences leading to a recommendation for licensure by the State Board.

  • Qualifying Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 10 hours per week on courses or work in that program.

  • Community Developmental Disability Program (CDDP means an entity that is responsible for planning and delivery of services for individuals with developmental disabilities in a specific geographic service area of the state operated by or under a contract with the Division or a local mental health authority.

  • B-BBEE status level of contributor means the B-BBEE status of an entity in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment, issued in terms of section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;

  • income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;

  • Continuous Improvement Plan means a plan for improving the provision of the Goods and/or Services and/or reducing the Charges produced by the Supplier pursuant to Framework Schedule 12 (Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking);

  • Design Criteria Professional means a firm who holds a current certificate of registration under Chapter 481 of the Florida Statutes, to practice architecture or landscape architecture, or a firm who holds a current certificate as a registered engineer under Chapter 471 of the Florida Statutes, to practice engineering, and who is employed by or under contract to the District to provide professional architect services, landscape architect services, or engineering services in connection with the preparation of the Design Criteria Package.

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.

  • Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.

  • Medically Necessary Leave of Absence means any change in enrollment at the post-secondary school that begins while the child is suffering from a serious illness or injury, is medically necessary, and causes the child to lose student status for purposes of coverage under the Plan.

  • Independent testing laboratory means an independent organization, accepted by the Contracting Officer, engaged to perform specific inspections or tests of the work, either at the site or elsewhere, and report the results of these inspections or tests.

  • Notice Program means the methods provided for in this Agreement for giving the Notice and consists of Email Notice, Postcard Notice, and Long Form Notice, which shall be substantially in the forms as the exhibits attached to this Agreement.

  • Qualified personnel means personnel who meet the statutory or regulatory qualifications for each respective profession currently applicable in this state.

  • Quality Assurance Program means the overall quality program and associated activities including the Department’s Quality Assurance, Design-Builder Quality Control, the Contract’s quality requirements for design and construction to assure compliance with Department Specifications and procedures.

  • Paycheck Protection Program means loan program created by Section 1102 of the CARES Act.

  • Performance Indicator means a measure of HSP performance for which a Performance Target is set; technical specifications of specific Performance Indicators can be found in the MSAA Indicator Technical Specifications document;

  • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.

  • Short-Term Resource Procurement Target means, for Delivery Years through May 31, 2018, as to the PJM Region, for purposes of the Base Residual Auction, 2.5% of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement determined for such Base Residual Auction, for purposes of the First Incremental Auction, 2% of the of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement as calculated at the time of the Base Residual Auction; and, for purposes of the Second Incremental Auction, 1.5% of the of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement as calculated at the time of the Base Residual Auction; and, as to any Zone, an allocation of the PJM Region Short-Term Resource Procurement Target based on the Preliminary Zonal Forecast Peak Load, reduced by the amount of load served under the FRR Alternative. For any LDA, the LDA Short-Term Resource Procurement Target shall be the sum of the Short-Term Resource Procurement Targets of all Zones in the LDA.

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Commercial sexual activity means any sex act or sexually explicit performance for which anything of value is given, promised to, or received by any person and includes, but is not limited to, prostitution, participation in the production of pornography, and performance in strip clubs.
