Qualifying Diagnosis definition

Qualifying Diagnosis or “Qualifying Diagnoses” means Level 1.5 Neurocognitive Impairment, Level 2 Neurocognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, and/or Death with CTE, as set forth in Exhibit 1 (Injury Definitions).
Qualifying Diagnosis means one of the diagnoses as specified in section 11-175.1-19.
Qualifying Diagnosis means a diagnosis that qualifies a Class Member for a Medical Treatment Payment, as set forth in Appendix A.

Examples of Qualifying Diagnosis in a sentence

  • These types of things are considered in reviews based on the generally consistent standard: (a) Qualifications of the diagnosing physician; (b) Year and state of medicine in which the Qualifying Diagnosis was made; (c) Types of testing and diagnostic methods used by the diagnosing physician; and (d) Supporting medical records.

  • Subject to the limitation in Section 6.3(a), the Claims Program can begin to receive Claims Program Claim Packages and make Claims Program Awards beginning 60 days after entry of the Final Order and Judgment, provided that only Settlement Class Members with a Qualifying Diagnosis as of the date of the entry of the Final Order and Judgment can submit claims to the Claims Program prior to the Effective Date.

  • A Comorbid Diagnosis is a diagnosis by a Licensed Medical Provider that a Class Member presently has (or had in the past during or after his or her work as a Content Moderator for a Facebook Vendor) a diagnosis of a condition appearing in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) other than, and in addition to, a Qualifying Diagnosis (a “Comorbid Disorder”).

  • A Class Member qualifying for a Medical Treatment Payment will be placed into a Medical Treatment Payment Tier on the basis of the Class Member’s Qualifying Diagnosis (and Comorbid Diagnosis, if any).

  • The physician who has authority under the Settlement Agreement to make a diagnosis for purposes of a Monetary Award depends on the kind of Qualifying Diagnosis and when it was made.

  • Failure to comply with the applicable limitation will preclude a Compensation Award for that Qualifying Diagnosis, unless in the determination of the Claims Administrator the Settlement Class Member can show good cause or excusable neglect.

  • Remaining amounts shall be allocated 10% or $10,000,000 (whichever is less) to the Research Funding Program and the remainder to pay Compensation Awards to Settlement Class Members referenced in Section 7.16 (including any who receive a Qualifying Diagnosis following the Initial Settlement Period), with the amount of such Compensation Awards to be determined pursuant to the provisions applicable during the Initial Settlement Period.
