Quality Jobs definition

Quality Jobs means full time jobs or full time equivalent jobs that pay an hourly wage at least 50% higher than the federal minimum wage or average salary of at least 125% of the median income for the area as defined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development under the United States Housing Act of 1937, Public Law 412, 50 Stat. 888, Section 8.
Quality Jobs means full-time equivalent positions with the Company, (1) the duties of which positions shall be performed at the Project site, (2) who shall be scheduled to work an average of at least 35 hours per week, (3) who shall be offered health insurance whereby the Company pays at least 50% of the insurance premiums, and (4) have an average total paid wage of no less than $12.50/hour, calculated as the total of base pay (excluding bonuses, commissions and overtime) divided by 2,080 hours per year.
Quality Jobs means a work providing good wages, ensuring work security via standard employment contract and access to social protection, giving access to good quality lifelong learning opportunities, securing good working conditions in safe and healthy workplaces, including a reasonable working time with good work-life balance, while ensuring trade union representation and bargaining rights.

Examples of Quality Jobs in a sentence

  • Pursuant to state Law, certain tax and incentive programs are available to qualifying manufacturers in certain circumstances, including the Louisiana Quality Jobs Program, Enterprise Zone Program, and the Manufacturing Machinery and Equipment sales tax exclusion (collectively, the “Rebatable Louisiana Sales and Use Tax”).

  • Pursuant to state Law, certain tax and incentive programs are available to qualifying manufacturers in certain circumstances, including the Louisiana Quality Jobs Program, Enterprise Zone Program, and the Manufacturing Machinery and Equipment sales tax exclusion.
