Quorate definition

Quorate means the quorum for decision making has been reached.
Quorate means, in relation to a meeting of the Joint Board, that the entire membership[, or duly appointed substitutes,] of the Joint Board, as specified in Clause 5.2, is present at the meeting
Quorate means a meeting attended by a quorum and thereby able to conduct business formally. “Quorum” means the number of members of a body required to be present to transact business formally.

  • The powers so delegated to the Board are vested in them collectively and therefore, as a general rule, must be exercised by them collectively at a Board Meeting duly convened and constituted and only when Quorate.
