Rate of departure definition

Rate of departure means the subject vehicle’s approach velocity at a right angle to the visible lane marking at the warning issue point;

Related to Rate of departure

  • Statement of Departures means Schedule C-1 to the form of Proposal attached as Schedule C.

  • Departure means (i) for purposes other than those specified in subdivision (ii), imposition of a sentence outside the applicable guideline range or of a sentence that is otherwise different from the guideline sentence; and (ii) for purposes of §4A1.3 (Departures Based on Inadequacy of Criminal History Category), assignment of a criminal history category other than the otherwise applicable criminal history category, in order to effect a sentence outside the applicable guideline range. "Depart" means grant a departure.

  • weekly rate of pay means an employee’s annual rate of pay divided by 52.176.

  • Reference Rate of Interest Event means, with respect to the Swap Rate or any subsequent Reference Rate of Interest (the "Reference Rate of Interest") one of the following events:

  • Basic Rate of Pay means the incremental step in the Salaries Schedule applicable to an Employee in accordance with the terms of this Collective Agreement, exclusive of all premium payments.

  • Actual Rate of Pay means, unless and until the Agency Worker has completed the Qualifying Period, the rate of pay which will be paid for all time worked during an Assignment for each hour worked, as set out in the relevant Assignment Details Form;

  • Applicable Department means the Personnel Department for employees of the City of Cambridge, the Purchasing Department, with the advice and assistance of the appropriate department which receives the services, for Covered Employers who contract or subcontract with the City of Cambridge, the School Department for employees, contractors and subcontractors of the School Department, and the City Manager’s Office for any other Person who is a Beneficiary of assistance other than a contract or subcontract.

  • Rate of Gross Profit means the gross profit earned expressed as a percentage of the turnover during the period between the date of the commencement of the business and the date of the incident.

  • Actual QP Rate of Pay means the rate of pay which will be paid to the Agency Worker if and when s/he completes the Qualifying Period, as set out in any variation to the relevant Assignment Details Form;

  • Board of Governors means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System of the United States of America.

  • Reference Rate means the rate specified as such hereon.

  • Website of the European Central Bank means the website of the European Central Bank currently at http://www.ecb.europa.eu or any successor website officially designated by the European Central Bank.

  • Final rate of pay means the actual rate upon which earnings of an employee were calculated during the twelve (12) month period immediately preceding the member's effective retirement date, including employee contributions picked up after August 1, 1982, pursuant to KRS 61.560(4). The rate shall be certified to the system by the employer and the following equivalents shall be used to convert the rate to an annual rate: two thousand eighty (2,080) hours for eight (8) hour workdays, nineteen hundred fifty (1,950) hours for seven and one-half (7-1/2) hour workdays, two hundred sixty (260) days, fifty-two (52) weeks, twelve (12) months, one (1) year;

  • GDPR means the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

  • daily rate of pay means an employee's weekly rate of pay divided by five (5);

  • Rate of Interest means the rate of interest payable from time to time in respect of this Note and that is either specified or calculated in accordance with the provisions hereon.

  • Annual Rate of Pay means, as of any date, an employee’s annualized base pay rate. An employee’s Annual Rate of Pay shall not include sales commissions or other similar payments or awards.

  • Xxxx-Xxxxx-Xxxxxx Act means the Xxxx-Xxxxx-Xxxxxx Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended.

  • Staff Governor means an employee of the Academy Trust who may be appointed as a Governor pursuant to Article 50A;

  • Weekly Rate means the rate of interest on a Group of 2024 Series A Variable Rate Bonds described in Section 301 of Appendix A hereto.

  • Adult day care means a program for six (6) or more individuals, of social and health-related services provided during the day in a community group setting for the purpose of supporting frail, impaired elderly or other disabled adults who can benefit from care in a group setting outside the home.

  • Prime Rate of Interest means that rate of interest designated as such by Fleet National Bank of Connecticut, N.A., or any successor thereto, as the same may from time to time fluctuate.

  • Xxxx-Xxxxx Act means the Xxxx-Xxxxx Xxxx Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

  • CDOR Screen Rate has the meaning assigned to such term in the definition of the term “CDOR Rate”.

  • Maximum Rate of Interest It is intended that the rate of interest hereon shall never exceed the maximum rate, if any, which may be legally charged on the loan evidenced by this Note ("Maximum Rate"), and if the provisions for interest contained in this Note would result in a rate higher than the Maximum Rate, interest shall nevertheless be limited to the Maximum Rate and any amounts which may be paid toward interest in excess of the Maximum Rate shall be applied to the reduction of principal, or, at the option of HSBC, returned to the Company.

  • Xxxxx–Xxxxx Act For any federally assisted construction contract, in excess of two thousand dollars ($2,000), the contractor, subcontractor, subrecipient shall comply with all of the requirements of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 – 3148) as supplemented by Department of Labor Regulations (29 CFR Part 5, “Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed and assisted Construction”); and the Xxxxxxxx “Anti-Kickback” Act (40 U.S.C. 3145), as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 3, “Contractors and Subcontractors on Public Building or Public Work Financed in Whole or in Part by Loans or Grants from the United States”).
