Reasonably known definition
Reasonably known means ‘known by the common law’s “reasonable person”’. On this point, see e.g. Guest (2009, 202): ‘Try to imagine… a legal system in which there were no publicly expressed laws at all, one in which all laws are secret and unpublished; even if one could construct such a system on paper, it makes absolutely no sense in the real world.’
