Receiving Entity definition

Receiving Entity means NERC or a Regional Entity receiving Confidential Information from an owner, operator, or user of the Bulk Power System or from any other party.
Receiving Entity means an entity that may receive Property from the Land Trust and that is (i) a registered Canadian charity that is in compliance or substantially in compliance with the Canadian Land Trust Standards and Practices 2019 or with the Guide des bonnes pratiques en intendance privée: aspects juridiques et organisationnels; (ii) a government department or agency, including a municipality or public body performing a function of government in Canada; or (iii) an Indigenous entity capable of holding title to land including a corporation controlled by an Indigenous entity.
Receiving Entity has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 5.01(a).

Examples of Receiving Entity in a sentence

  • The type of Property interest secured by the Land Trust under this Agreement (such as Fee Simple title or conservation agreement) is to be owned or held exclusively and entirely by the Land Trust, without joint ownership, dilution or any form of shared ownership or control, except that shared or joint ownership with a Receiving Entity is permitted.
