Recreational Program definition

Recreational Program means a non-residential program for children between six (6) and twelve (12) years of age or a child between thirteen (13) years of age and eighteen (18) years of age, inclusive, who is physically or mentally incapable of caring for him or herself or is under court supervision, inclusive, operated by a community-based program that meets staff-to-child ratio requirements and performs criminal history, motor vehicle, and child abuse/neglect background checks as required of Department regulated Child Care Facilities.
Recreational Program means any before and/or after school, vacation, or summer youth program for children 6 years of age or older offered by a school or religious group, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Girls, Incorporated, the YMCA, or the YWCA, provided that the program: (a) Does not operate in a private home; (b) Notifies parents or guardians that the program is not subject to licensure under RSA 170-E:4; (c) Has policies and procedures to address the filing of grievances by parents and guardians; and (d) Is a member in good standing and in compliance with the national organization's minimum standards and procedures.
Recreational Program means a program for the provision of facilities for recreation or for the supervision, encouragement and guidance of recreational activity;
