Reductions in force definition

Reductions in force. Employees who are terminated by the company for reasons other than cause or performance will receive a pro-rata portion of their bonus award based upon recommendations by their supervisor. Company, function/department results and individual performance will be taken into account.

Examples of Reductions in force in a sentence

  • Reductions in force may result from financial exigency, program reduction or financial emergencies.

  • Step 1 - Reductions in force when possible will be accomplished through normal attrition.

  • Reductions in force are identified by classification within the Sheriff’s Office.

  • Reductions in force shall be accomplished by removing from the classification in which the oversupply exists, the junior person in that classification.
