Regular Holidays. New Year’s Day, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Day, Columbus Day, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s Birthday, Veterans’ Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Friday Following Thanksgiving Day, Independence Day, General Election Day (on which members of the House of Representatives are elected).

Examples of Regular Holidays in a sentence

  • Employees who take approved time off (Vacation, Floating Holiday, Regular Holidays, Jury Duty, Bereavement, Union Business or have an on-the-job injury) during the work week are considered as having met the 40-hour work week requirement and thus would be eligible to receive overtime pay when working on their assigned day off.

  • Whenever any of the Regular Holidays fall on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be considered an authorized holiday for those classifications and operational sections whose normal work schedules do not include Saturday work.

  • The seven (7) Regular Holidays are New Year’s Day, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

  • Generally, Customer can expect their System to be returned in 7-10 business days (excluding Regular Holidays) after NCS receives the System at NCS repair facility.

  • The authorized Medical Center holidays consist of seven (7) Regular Holidays and five (5) Personal Holidays.

  • For nurses on a twelve (12) hour shift, the nurse will be paid for the six (6) Regular Holidays at twelve (12) hours pay per holiday.

  • Generally, Customer can expect their Component to be returned in 7-10 business days (excluding Regular Holidays) after NCS receives the Component at NCS repair facility.

  • Off During Weeks Which Include Regular Holidays During any calendar week which includes a regular District holiday (excluding floating holiday, employee’s birthday and employee’s Anniversary Date), an employee with an alternate work schedule will revert to the basic work schedule (5-8) for that week.

Related to Regular Holidays

  • NERC Holidays means a holiday as defined by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation or any successor thereto.

  • Regular Hours means the hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, excluding the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

  • Public Holidays means public holidays under NI Act., at the place where the Equipment is located, when banks are closed for business.

  • Legal Holidays has the meaning specified in Section 1.14.

  • Carrier Holiday as herein used means a day on which Carrier’s office is closed for business.
