Regular Hours Paid means hours paid by the Employer including the straight- time equivalent of overtime hours worked, paid vacation leave, paid holiday leave, paid sick leave, unpaid Union leave reimbursed by the Union as provided in Article “Seniority” - means the length of continuous employment dating from the most recent date of hire as an employee in the bargaining unit with the Employer or earlier if so indicated in the employee’s status letter issued following the signing date of this agreement.

Regular Hours Paid means hours paid by the Employer to maximum of 2080 hours annually including paid vacation hours, paid holiday hours and any other approved paid leaves for which an employee is compensated by the Employer but excludes paid sick leave, overtime hours, and hours paid by a third party (e.g. WCB).

Regular Hours Paid means all hours for which a Nurse receives pay from the Employer, including the straight-time equivalent of overtime hours, but excluding on-call hours. For the purposes of the calculation of benefits under this Agreement, Regular Hours Paid for a Nurse shall not exceed 1950 hours in any calendar year.

• One year of satisfactory recent nursing experience for the purpose of initial placement of a Nurse on the salary scale shall be equivalent to 2080 Regular Hours Paid.

• Paid holiday leave credits shall be earned by a Nurse on the basis of Regular Hours Paid.

• Annual Leave will be 40 Hour Workweek: 120 Hours earned at the rate of (15 days) 5.77% of all Regular Hours Paid Annual Leave will be 40 Hour Workweek: 160 Hours earned at the rate of (20 days) 7.70% of all Regular Hours Paid Regular Hours Paid as used in this Article include all hours paid except overtime, standby time, call-time, and full-time out-service training.

• A Nurse shall accumulate entitlement on the basis of one (1) hour of holiday credit for each 23.7 Regular Hours Paid (including the straight time hourly equivalent to overtime hours worked) to a maximum accrual of 88 hours of holiday credits in a fiscal year period.

• Vacation will accrue at the following rate: Years of Employment* Ratio of Hours Earned to Regular Hours Paid Conversion to Days/Year Ratio 12 mo.
