regulatory examination definition

regulatory examination means a regulatory examination based on the qualifying criteria set out in the Tables in Annexure Five, the purpose of which is to test a person’s knowledge, understanding and application of legislation, including a financial sector law as defined in section 1(1) of the Financial Sector Regulation Act, 2017 (Act No. 9 of 2017), the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (Act No. 38 of 2001), and all measures promulgated in terms of those Acts, directly applicable to an FSP, representative or key individual:
regulatory examination means a regulatory examination based on the qualifying criteria contained in a Table in Annexure Three mainly aimed at testing a person’s knowledge, understanding and application of legislation directly applicable to FSPs, representatives and key individuals, including the provisions of the Act, the Financial Services Board Act, 1990 (Act No. 97 of 1990), the Financial Institutions (Protection of Funds) Act, 2001 (Act No. 28 of 2001), the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (Act No. 38 of 2001), and all measures promulgated in terms of those Acts;
regulatory examination means an examination based on the qualifying criteria contained in a Table in Annexure Three;
