Relative Return on Average Equity definition

Relative Return on Average Equity means the Company’s ROAE during the Performance Measurement Period compared to the ROAE of the Index Companies during the Performance Measurement Period. Relative performance will be determined by numerical ranking the Company and the Index Companies according to their respective ROAE, with a rank of #1 for the company with the highest ROAE through the bottom ranking equal to the total number of companies in the comparison. After this ranking, the percentile ranking of the Company relative to the Index Companies will be determined as follows:
Relative Return on Average Equity. (“Relative ROAE”) for the three-year Performance Period is the percentile ranking of the Company’s ROAE relative to the ROAE of competitor companies in the Performance Peer Group (as provided separately to Employee) over the same three-year period. The Performance Peer Group is comprised of competitor companies as determined by the Compensation Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors from time to time (and may be modified by the Compensation Committee after the date of this Agreement). The Relative ROAE will be determined by the Company using the Company’s ROAE as defined in Section 3(d) and its percentile rank within the Performance Peer Group.

Examples of Relative Return on Average Equity in a sentence

  • Subject to early termination of this Agreement pursuant to Sections 4(b) or 5 below, as soon as practicable following the end of the Performance Period, the Company shall determine the Cumulative Operating Revenue Growth Rate (as defined in Section 3(c)), Return on Average Equity (as defined in Section 3(d)) and Relative Return on Average Equity (as defined in Section 3(e)) over such Performance Period.

  • Subject to early termination of this Agreement pursuant to Sections 4(b) or 5 below, as soon as practicable following the end of the Performance Period, the Company shall determine the Cumulative Revenue Growth Rate (as defined in Section 3(c)), Return on Average Equity (as defined in Section 3(d)), and Relative Return on Average Equity (as defined in Section 3(e)) over such Performance Period.

  • Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, in the event a Change of Control occurs during the Performance Period prior to Employee’s death, disability, retirement or other termination of employment, (a) the Cumulative Revenue Growth Rate, Return on Average Equity and Relative Return on Average Equity for the Performance Period shall be deemed to be the respective Target amounts set forth in Section 3(a).

  • For purposes of determining such deficiency, monthly percentage rent shall be included by taking the average percentage rent during the 12 months preceding the default or breach by Tenant.
