Examples of Relief Shifts in a sentence

  • When such changes are necessary, the Relief Shifts will be rescheduled to allow the Relief Operator a minimum of two (2) consecutive days off within the same pay week, and a minimum of eight (8) hours will be maintained between rescheduled shifts.

  • Relief Shifts are deficiencies in the schedule which occur after the posting.

  • Part-Time Employees may also have Relief Shifts cancelled with two (2) hours advance notice and there shall be no financial penalty on the Employer.

  • Two (2) Relief Shifts will be offered to an Employee before moving on to the next senior Employee.

  • It is agreed that the Section Commander will assign hours of duty to Relief Shifts in accordance with operations requirements.

  • Relief Shifts will be worked as required to cover vacation, sickness and staff shortages.

  • Relief Shifts becoming available at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to commencement of the Relief Shift will be offered to Part-time employees except where there are no available Part-time employees in which case Casual employees will be offered such shifts.

  • Any deviation shall be in accordance with Article Leave of Absence, Article Deviation from posted and confirmed schedule and Relief Shifts.

  • The shift shall be eight (8) hours and eighteen (18) minutes as follows: Relief Shifts 3:00 p.m. to 11:18 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 12:18 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 3:18 a.m. or Corrections Corporals are not permanently assigned and may be moved to any of the shifts, as indicated above, for operational needs.
