Remedial Maintenance definition

Remedial Maintenance means that maintenance performed by the Contractor which results from Equipment (including Operating Software) failure, and which is performed as required, i.e., on an unscheduled basis.
Remedial Maintenance means to remedy, repair and correct malfunctions, breakdowns and/or faults in the Equipment and Equipment software;
Remedial Maintenance means rectification of a hardware failure to restore the Equipment to the configuration and functionality which existed prior to the failure and to the point of passing Resolution (GB) Ltd diagnostic testing applicable to that Equipment;

Examples of Remedial Maintenance in a sentence

  • Warranty or maintenance services requested for a unit of hardware within the forty-eight (48) hour period immediately following Remedial Maintenance performed on the same unit of hardware for the same problem, shall not be considered an additional service and shall be provided at no charge.

  • Remedial Maintenance Activities undertaken only in response to a failure or breakdown of equipment or instruments which results in a loss of production.

  • Supplier’s Remedial Maintenance offerings and responsibilities, and the Authorized User’s associated remedies, are described in Exhibit D.

  • Remedial Maintenance Calls: During the regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When requested by Customer, remedial maintenance service will be done as promptly as practicable to correct malfunctions of the Equipment and to make repairs necessary to restore the Equipment to good operating condition, including the replacement of unserviceable parts.

More Definitions of Remedial Maintenance

Remedial Maintenance means unscheduled, on-call Maintenance (i) to correct an Outage, (ii) to restore operations to above Critical Service Levels, or (iii) to restore the Equipment and the System to good operating condition, as more fully described in Schedule A.
Remedial Maintenance means maintenance performed by Supplier which is necessary to return inoperative or malfunctioning Purchases to good operating condition.
Remedial Maintenance means the service required to be performed, whether on-site or off-site, to restore the Hardware to a condition allowing performance in accordance with the Contractor's Specifications and the Customer's Functional Specifications for that Hardware, examples of which services may be:  time and materials maintenance servicepick up and delivery maintenance service  return to depot maintenance service  swap-in/swap-out maintenance service;
Remedial Maintenance means the remedying, repairing and correcting of malfunctions, breakdowns and/or faults in the Equipment;
Remedial Maintenance means repair of equipment and systems with parts, materials, and labor to restore performance to the designed function in the event of any breakdown or stoppage of equipment or system including, but not limited to, repairs and replacements of related components, parts, and appurtenances that have failed, no longer perform reliably, or have worn beyond safe tolerances, and excluding any such breakdowns or stoppage caused by a third-party.
Remedial Maintenance or “RM” shall mean the repair, update or replacement (at Provider’s option) of Hardware parts that fail and/or Software.
Remedial Maintenance means any maintenance service on Equipment for failures which have occurred as a result of routine normal use and excluding any failures or other exclusions as described in Section 5.8 of this Agreement.
