Remedial service definition

Remedial service means any service, other than a physician's service, provided within the scope of practice as defined by State law by a person licensed as a practitioner under State law.
Remedial service means service beyond Response Maintenance. Remedial Service includes diagnosis using the keyboard and diagnostics software, adjustment of gear ratio, belt tension and standby filament current, and replacement of major assemblies. Remedial Service also includes the repair of any defective part, or the removal of a defective part and installation of a replacement part. Remedial Service includes testing, calibration and adjustment of the Products as necessitated by a repair or replacement.

Examples of Remedial service in a sentence

  • Remedial service on Equipment other than Normal Service shall be carried out by Scitor ITS through its sub-contractors as soon as is practicably possible, taking into account availability of service personnel, the time and date of Customer's notification and the country concerned.

  • Remedial service may be required to bring the Equipment to proper operating standards and the labor and parts associated will be billed at prevailing rates.
