Request for a Change Order means a document, designated as a Request For A Change Order, prepared by the Contractor requesting either (1) change in Contract Price; (2) change in Contract Time; (3) a change in Contract Work; (4) a payment of money or damages; and/or

  • Each written Request for a Change Order must be accompanied by written suggestions where costs can be reduced to offset the Change Order increase requested or a written certification stating that the Contractor has reviewed the work to be performed and cannot identify areas where costs can be reduced.

  • If Design-Builder does not comply in full with the requirements of Sections 12.3 and 12.4, VPRA may provide written notice rejecting Design-Builder’s Request for a Change Order within the forty five (45)-Day time period and such notice shall identify the deficiencies within Design-Builder’s submittal.

  • Pending resolution of the Contractor’s Request for a Change Order, the Contractor shall continue to perform all Work including, at the written request of the County that work associated with the pending Request for Change Order.

  • No later than seven days after the event, directive, instruction, comment or other reason that the Contractor believes is a basis for a change order, the Contractor shall provide the County with the Contractor’s Request for a Change Order.
