Rescue team, definition

Rescue team, as used in this section, means a special group of physicians and surgeons, nurses, and employees of a health facility who have been trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and have been designated by the health facility to attempt, in cases of emergency, to resuscitate persons who are in immediate danger of loss of life.

Examples of Rescue team, in a sentence

  • The team leaders of the Advanced Search and Rescue team and the Airboat team shall receive an additional $100.00 per year in addition to that required above.

  • Employees who maintain on an annual basis the Sparks Fire Department requirements for Water Rescue, and are assigned to the Water Rescue team shall receive special duty pay equal to three percent (3%) of the base pay paid biweekly.

  • Employees who maintain on an annual basis the Sparks Fire Department requirements for Technical Rescue including but not limited to confined space rescue, trench rescue, high angle rescue, structural collapse rescue, and who are assigned to the Technical Rescue team shall receive special duty pay equal to three percent (3%) of the base pay paid biweekly.

  • It is agreed that when an employee is a member of a government funded Urban Search and Rescue team, the Canadian Red Cross disaster relief team or Canadian Government Disaster Assistance Response team (DART) and their team is deployed into action for a natural disaster to provide humanitarian assistance, the employee will be granted a leave of absence without pay.

  • Rescue team training will be part of and in accordance with Snohomish County Rescue team standards.

  • Examples of these teams are, but not limited to: County Rescue team, County Dive team, County Hazmat team, USAR, Licking County Swat medic, Rescue Task Force and Local Assistance State Team (LAST).

  • Search and Rescue team members shall not be eligible to receive On-Call pay.

  • Employees who maintain on an annual basis the Sparks Fire Department requirements for Water Rescue, and are assigned to the Water Rescue team shall receive special duty pay equal to three percent (3%) of the top step Firefighter base pay paid bi-weekly.

  • Due to the potential for multiple, simultaneous trauma victims, all Fire and Rescue team members must have strong emergency medical abilities (including first responders or paramedics) to support the site medical team.

Related to Rescue team,

  • IEP team means a group of individuals described in Wis. Stat. § 115.78 that is responsible for evaluating the child to determine the child’s eligibility or continued eligibility for special education and related services and the educational needs of the child; developing, reviewing, or revising an IEP for the child; and determining the special education placement for the child.

  • Project Team means Owner, Contractor, A/E and consultants, any separate Contractors employed by Owner, and others employed for the purpose of programming, design, and construction of the Project. The members of the Project Team will be designated in writing by Owner and may be modified from time to time in writing by Owner.
