Research Inventions definition

Research Inventions means any inventions, discoveries, improvements, processes, techniques, Know-How, information and data developed, generated, discovered, conceived or reduced to practice during the performance of the Work Plan (as defined in Section 4.1) and relating to the Compounds, whether or not patentable.

Research Inventions means collectively all inventions, Know-How, trade secrets, discoveries, development, methods, techniques, formulae, processes and compositions of matter, whether or not patentable, resulting or derived from or directly relating to SurModics’ and/or Edge’s activities under the Development Agreement or any other agreement between the Parties.

Research Inventions shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.6 hereof.

Examples of Research Inventions in a sentence

• Inventorship of Research Inventions (including the meanings of "solely" and "jointly") shall be determined in accordance with United States patent law.

• When a Research Invention has been made which may reasonably be considered to be patentable, a patent application shall be filed as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with Section 5.1. Such Research Inventions shall be deemed to be "Patent Rights" and shall be licensed in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in Section 3.1 herein.

• Novartis shall have no obligation to disclose Novartis Research Inventions to ImmunoGen.

• With respect to Research Inventions which are not patentable, such research information shall be deemed to be "Myriad Know-How" and/or "Schering Know-How" and shall be licensed in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in Section 3.1 herein.

• The IP arises with commercial potential as a part of Research, Inventions/ Innovations, the Institution intends to make such IP available in a form, which will fruitfully promote its development and use for economic and social benefit.

More Definitions of Research Inventions

Research Inventions has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 9.1 hereof which refers to Section 9 of APPENDIX A to this Agreement.

Research Inventions means any and all data, results, inventions, improvements, or discoveries, including the Informatics Code, whether patentable or not, that are made by the Parties, either solely or jointly, in the course of conducting activities under the Research Program, or that are made by subcontractors or other personnel performing activities under the Research Program, including all intellectual property rights therein.

Research Inventions means any and all inventions and discoveries in the Field (including, without limitation, any and all improvements to the methods set forth in the claims of the '681 Patent, any and all genes and corresponding mutations thereof responsible for idiopathic hemochromatosis, and all uses thereof in the Field), which are conceived or discovered by BRI during the term of, and in the course of performing research pursuant to, the Research Agreement.

Research Inventions means any invention, know-how, method, process, use, article of manufacture, or composition of matter conceived or first actually or constructively reduced to practice as part of the RESEARCH PROGRAM or which results from the RESEARCH PROGRAM.
