Resettlement Policy definition

Resettlement Policy means the Policy Framework for Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation of Affected Persons, satisfactory to the Association, approved by MWH dated May 2004;
Resettlement Policy means the Resettlement Action Plan Policy, dated December 2000, prepared by the Department of Transport and Public Works (TUPWS) of Ho Chi Minh City at the time, approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Memorandum No. 4652/UB-DT, setting forth the policies, planning principles and institutional arrangements designed to improve the living standards and productive capacity of persons affected by the Project, as said Resettlement Policy may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Association.
Resettlement Policy means the Policy Framework for Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation of Project Affected Persons, dated May 2001, endorsed by DPWH on May 10, 2001 for application to the Project and satisfactory to the Bank.

  • The Project Implementing Entity shall ensure that the Project is implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental and Social Management Framework, and Resettlement Policy Framework, and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree, the Project Implementing Entity shall not amend, abrogate, or waive, or permit to be amended, abrogated, or waived, any provision of the aforementioned.

  • The Recipient shall cause the Project Implementing Entity: (i) to carry out the Project in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental and Social Management Framework and the Resettlement Policy Framework, and (ii) unless the Association shall otherwise agree, not to amend or waive any provision thereof which in the opinion of the Association may adversely and materially affect the implementation of the Project.

  • The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the environmental, social and resettlement guidelines, rules and procedures defined in the Environmental and Social Management Framework, and the Resettlement Policy Framework.

  • The Recipient shall cause the Palestinian Authority not to amend, suspend, abrogate, repeal or waive any provision of the Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan or the Resettlement Policy Framework without prior approval of the Administrator.

  • The Recipient shall cause the Palestinian Authority to carry out the Project in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment, the Environmental Management Plan, and the Resettlement Policy Framework, including the requirement therein to prepare a site-specific Resettlement Action Plan under Part 1 of the Project, in a manner satisfactory to the Administrator, prior to the commencement of works on the respective site.

  • The Recipient shall implement the Project, and shall ensure that the Project Implementing Entity implements the Project, in accordance with the guidelines, procedures, timetables and other specifications set forth in the Environmental and Social Management Framework and the Resettlement Policy Framework.

  • The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework and the Resettlement Policy Framework.

  • The Borrower, through the Project Implementing Entity, shall ensure that the Project Reports referred to in the preceding paragraph 1 report on the monitoring and implementation of the requirements set forth in the Environmental Impact Assessments and the Resettlement Policy Framework.

  • The Project Coordination Unit shall be responsible for implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Framework, Resettlement Policy Framework, any Environmental Assessments, and any Resettlement Action Plans, and, to this end, shall recruit, no later than three (3) months after the Effective Date, and maintain throughout Project implementation, a safeguards specialist, with qualifications, experience, and terms of reference satisfactory to the Association.

  • The Recipient shall ensure that, throughout the implementation of the Project, the Project shall be implemented in accordance with the guidelines, procedures, timetables and other specifications set forth in the Environmental and Social Management Framework and the Resettlement Policy Framework.
